Senior C#/Java developer (m/f)
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Software Developer proficient in C# and/or Java, to join our team inside the Medical Services department, which contributes to designing complex systems aimed at radiation treatment facilities worldwide. What you will be doing:
- Developing medical software for cancer treatment systems.
- Participating in architecture design, risk analysis, code reviews, and overall teamwork.
- Documenting and thoroughly testing your work.
- Validating and verifying the work done by the other team members.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- C# and/or Java proficiency and production experience.
- Action-oriented and analytical skills.
- Understanding of software design, programming techniques, and computer science fundamentals.
- Familiarity with source control (Git), CI/CD, code analysis, and other modern programming practices.
- Developed communication skills and an open mind for discussion and team collaboration.
Education:
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other related technical disciplines.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
Bonus points if you have:
- Demonstrated competency in WPF using the MVVM pattern.
- Knowledge of other programming languages.
- Experience in concurrent and distributed systems.
- Understanding of functional programming.
- Linux / *nix user experience.
