
FPGA Developer (m/f)
About the role
As an FPGA developer, you will participate in exciting projects where every picosecond counts. For example, collaboration with the FAIR institute, where matter that usually exists only in the depths of space will be produced in the laboratory for research. During your work, you will also get to know the field of timing synchronization of distributed devices, quantum sensing, quantum computers, and many other scientific areas.

Key tasks and responsibilities
- Development of FPGA systems.
- Testing and verification of FPGA systems.
- Writing technical documentation.
- Analyzing requirements and defining technical specifications together with the customer.
- Regular communication with the internal team and the customers.
Required qualifications and skills
- Basic knowledge of the VHDL programming language.
- A desire to work with electronics and electronic circuits.
- Proactivity and problem-solving skills.
- Developed communication skills.
- An open mind for discussion and team collaboration.
Education
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other related technical disciplines.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
Bonus points if you have
- Experience with FPGA development environments AMD Vivado and Intel Quartus.
- Knowledge of basic measurement techniques.
- Knowledge of digital signal processing.
- Knowledge of standard communication protocols.
