HR Business Partner
About the role
Cosylab develops software and hardware for controlling complex systems — from medical devices to particle accelerators and fusion energy. Our teams are large, technically demanding, and work on projects around the world.
In such an environment, HR is not just a back-office administrative function. That’s why we are looking for an HR Business Partner who supports the entire employee lifecycle and becomes an integral part of the department — not just an HR contact who steps in when problems arise. We are looking for someone who understands the department from within: its people, processes, and the strategic context of what the department does and where it is heading. Someone who recognizes where HR can contribute to achieving business goals, identifies where support is needed, proposes solutions, and drives them to implementation. In this role, the HR Business Partner works closely with technical team leaders and helps them build high-performing, development-oriented teams.

Key tasks and responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and procedures (recruitment, onboarding, development, and offboarding) in line with local legislation and company values.
- Act as a reliable HR partner to managers and employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
- Actively monitor the overall employee experience and propose and implement concrete actions together with managers.
- Plan and execute activities related to performance management, employee growth and development, and other strategic topics.
- Ensure compliance with labor law and support managers in its practical application.
- Lead and contribute to HR projects that support business needs and foster a positive organizational culture.

- Strong business acumen and the ability to connect HR strategy with business goals.
- Proactivity, independence, and ownership in driving initiatives from idea to completion.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and set priorities effectively.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders, along with excellent communication skills
- High sense of responsibility and ethical standards.
- Knowledge and understanding of labor law.
Education
- At least a bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Bonus points if you have
- Experience working in a technology or engineering company.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
