
HR Specialist (m/f)

We are looking for a new member to join our vibrant HR team, someone who will handle various legal and formal employment procedures, prepare payroll data, and maintain well-organized HR records. Key tasks and responsibilities
- Carrying out legal and formal employment procedures (contracts, annexes, etc.).
- Managing legal procedures related to cooperation with students and external contractors.
- Occasionally handling employment procedures for foreign workers.
- Preparing data for payroll processing.
- Monitoring legislation and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Managing the HR information system (GeckoHRM).
- Maintaining HR records.
- Preparing basic statistical reports.
- Advising employees on labor law questions.
- Participating in the preparation and implementation of HR projects.
- Collaborating with other departments on HR-related matters.
Required qualifications and skills
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the Employment Relations Act (ZDR-1) and legal procedures related to employment (including foreign workers).
- Experience with preparing payroll data.
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Organizational skills with a systematic approach to managing tasks and priorities.
- Proactiveness and readiness to learn.
- An open mind for discussion and team collaboration.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
Bonus points if you have
- Experience using the GeckoHRM information system.
- Experience participating in the preparation and execution of HR projects.
