Treatment Planning Application Specialist (RT/PT)
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Treatment Planning Application Specialist to join our Radiation Oncology Solutions team and help advance cancer treatment worldwide.

About the role
As a Treatment Planning Application Specialist, you will be a key link between customers, clinical teams, and product development. You will showcase our solutions to customers, support Sales in winning opportunities, and serve as an internal expert who brings deep clinical context into decision-making. Your treatment planning expertise will help shape the product roadmap, guide prioritization, and ensure our solutions truly address the needs of end users.
Key tasks and responsibilities
- Customer demonstrations: Deliver engaging online and in-person product demos tailored to clinical users, illustrating workflow efficiency and clinical value.
- Pre-sales support: Collaborate with Sales to design and execute effective strategies for customer-specific opportunities.
- Toolkit development: Partner with the Clinical Pre-Sales Manager to refine and maintain demo materials, marketing content, and presentation toolkits.
- Internal advisory role: Support internal clinical and development teams by explaining and demonstrating clinical use cases, helping navigate decisions on product direction and design.
- Roadmap influence: Provide structured feedback from customer interactions and clinical expertise to Product Management, helping shape product prioritization and long-term roadmap planning.
- Knowledge sharing: Serve as a clinical subject-matter expert across the organization, supporting cross-functional alignment between Sales, Marketing, and Engineering.
- Industry representation: Represent Cosylab at workshops, conferences, and trade shows to strengthen our clinical credibility and industry presence.
Required qualifications and skills
- Proven treatment planning experience in both proton and photon radiotherapy (IMRT, VMAT, PBS/IMPT).
- Background as a Medical Physicist, Dosimetrist, Planner or equivalent professional with hands-on experience in a clinical radiation oncology environment.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex workflows to diverse audiences.
- Experience collaborating across technical, commercial, and clinical teams in a high-tech or regulated domain.
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable with frequent interaction with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel internationally to support customers and internal activities.
Education
- Master’s degree or higher in Medical Physics, Physics, Oncology, or a related field.
- Fluency in spoken and written English (additional languages are a plus).
Bonus points if you have
- Familiarity with leading TPS platforms (RayStation, Eclipse, etc.) and treatment delivery systems.
- Experience contributing to product definition, roadmap planning, or clinical software development
- Prior involvement in customer-facing technical or pre-sales roles.
