At Cosylab, we build software that controls particle accelerators, fusion reactors, and radiation therapy systems. Our customers aren’t procurement departments — they’re physicists, research directors, and engineers who’ve spent a decade mastering their field.
Selling to them doesn’t work with standard playbooks. It works with patience, genuine curiosity, and trust built over years, not quarters.
What this role actually is
You’ll develop new business across three domains: accelerator science, fusion energy, and radiation oncology. You’ll identify the right institutions and companies, build relationships with the people who matter, and — over time — become someone they call before they’ve written an RFP.
You won’t know what a synchrotron is on day one. That’s fine. We’ll teach you the domain; you bring the instinct.

- You need frequent wins to stay motivated.
- You rely on urgency tactics with buyers who have no urgency.
- “Let me learn about your machine” sounds performative to you rather than genuinely interesting.

What we need
- 5+ years B2B sales of complex services or solutions.
- Track record of winning genuinely new accounts — you’ve hunted, not just farmed existing relationships.
- Enough technical fluency to not be afraid of an engineering conversation.
- Strong English and willingness to travel.
