Junior Control Systems Engineer (m/f)
We’re ready to help bring the next Particle Accelerator to life. Are you with us?
Is bringing software and hardware components into a solution something you want to work on? Are you a problem-solver by heart? Are Linux, C, or C++ familiar to you? Let’s meet!
About the role
We are looking for someone with programming experience who would like to build their career in the control system domain. If you join us, you will be working with a team of control systems engineers to deliver software for big physics projects.
You will help develop various systems for monitoring and controlling accelerators. These systems include detectors for capturing beam images, superconducting magnets used to change the shape and direction of the beam, nanosecond-resolution timers, cryogenic systems responsible for cooling superconducting materials, vacuum systems, and other similarly complex systems.
For a better understanding of the projects we are working on, take a look at who we are collaborating with: Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, Fermi National Laboratory, CERN.
Don’t worry, we understand the unique nature of our domain and offer mentorship and support to help you acquire the specific knowledge necessary for success in this field.
