Senior Sales Engineer - Medical Software (m/f)
About the role
Due to business expansion in the development of innovative medical devices and systems for cancer treatment, we are strengthening one of our sales teams. We are looking for a Sales Engineer with extensive experience selling complex software solutions. By working as a part of our team, you will have the opportunity to participate in many exciting projects that enable better and more effective cancer treatment. Responsibilities:
- Sales of Cosylab software solutions in the field of radiation therapy and complex medical devices (closing deals including negotiations, account management).
- Prospecting and maintaining a database of new sales
- Preparation, implementation, and coordination of sales strategies for existing and potential customers.
- Active role in projects and teams to support overall business development.
- Detailed understanding of Cosylab’s key clients’ business (company background, business performance and objectives, business and competitive environment and challenges, etc.).
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Demonstrable experience of several years (5+) selling customized solutions and services in a B2B environment (at a senior level within organizations).
- Understanding of innovative sales methods such as Solution Selling.
- Sufficient technical knowledge of hardware and software solutions to understand complex projects and identify customer needs.
- Understanding at least the conceptual basics of ISO standards for medical device software development is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
- Developed communication and negotiation skills, openness to discussion, and ability to work as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm and commitment to succeed in sales and business development.
- Enthusiasm for travelling or visiting clients and conferences.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or other related technical disciplines, or five years of related experience and/or training.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
