Cosylab to Participate in the 2024 Chip Conference
Experts from Cosylab will on January 24, 2024, take part in the 2nd Slovenian conference on chips and semiconductors (SLO-chip 2024) and speak about how software supports the advancements in the semiconductor industry. The event will be held at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Ljubljana and co-organised with the professional association MIDEM.
The conference will give participants an insight into trends, research and innovation in chip and semiconductor design and manufacturing with a focus on contemporary issues and an exchange of views on novelties and pioneering technologies.
Among the subjects covered will also be the latest developments in micro-, nano- and quantum electronics, sensors, semiconductor and photonic integrated circuits, design and technologies, prototyping, and recent achievements in cutting-edge research.
“Nowadays, developing new cutting-edge devices, either as a proof of concept, prototype, or production-ready product, requires a hybrid solution of high-tech hardware and advanced firmware and software. This holds for big projects like lithography machines and smaller innovative projects. In Cosylab, we have an impressive track record of supporting high-tech projects in the semiconductor field where understanding of the entire system, both technology- and business-wise, is key to production-ready advanced software and electronics,” underlines Tadej Pukl, Sales manager for high-tech and big science at Cosylab.
