Cosylab becomes a member of Fusion Industry Association
Jasna Hengović, Senior Software Developer and Project Manager at Cosylab, the winner of the Slovenian “Female Engineer of the Year” project in 2021, was an honorary speaker at the ceremony held at the Palace of the President of the Republic of Slovenia.
The ceremony marked the conclusion of the project to select the “Female Engineer of the Year”, aiming to encourage young women to study science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) by promoting the engineering profession and recognizing female engineers exemplary work and their contribution to society.
In her inspiring address to the new generation of finalists, Jasna pointed out that
“engineers will play a key role in inventing solutions for a more sustainable future.”
She called upon young engineers to live their dream and develop their potential:
“Be brave, curious and enthusiastically take the engineering path to your future!”
Congratulations to Dr. Nataša Kovačević, the 2021 “Female Engineer of the Year”, and all the finalists! As the President of the Republic of Slovenia Borut Pahor remarked in his speech,
“engineers are the bridge to solutions to the most burning challenges of the 21st century.”
